KDE wallet manager doesn´t open
Hi, first things first, I´m a total newbie at Linux (I only installed it the other day), so please bear that in mind when answering. I´ve been searching around for a solution with google, and looking up on help sites but so far I can´t find anything that will help.
Okay, so I´m using Mandrake version 10, and I use KDE wallet manager version 3.2. It´s the same version that came with Mandrake, but I tried un-installing it after the problem occurred, and when I wanted to re-install it, I couldn´t install it from the CD, so I downloaded the RPM to re-install it.
The wallet will store passwords fine when I first enter them, and will pop up when I´m about to log in to something (eg kopete) where I stored a password and ask for the master password, and that works fine too. No problems there.
The problem arose when I wanted to manage the wallet. I went to the KDE wallet icon (somewhere in the system tab of the start menu), and after I clicked on it, it appeared on the band at the bottom of the screen, with the text ¨Starting KDE Wallet¨, but after a bit it just disappeared and then nothing, no trace of it. That happens each time I try to open KDE wallet.
So, help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
