KDE Upgrade

Hi all!

I want to upgrade my KDE from 3.3.2 to 3.4.2. Before I remove the old packages, I just wanna make sure my settings/files wont be gone.

In case I DO NOT DELETE my home folder, will the KDE settings be saved (the K menu items, control center settings, etc...)?

Most of the settings will be preserved.
Did the same upgrade nearly a week ago (3.2.3->3.4.2).
