KDE TV displays interferences since automatic updates of kernel and others

HI

My system is a SuSE 9.2 with kde 3.4, everything fully updated through YOU.

From a couple of weeks I have had an anoying problem which consist on very important horizontal interferences in the upper part of the KDETV window (or fullscreen).

I thought it was some hardware fault, but after repairing the system with the bootable SuSE CD every seemed OK. The analogic signal has been checked also. No problems here as well.

The thing is I have installed TVTIME and at the moment it is working OK, although KDETV does have the problem yet.

Reinstalling of software has been tried also, with no success.

The most strange thing is that when I try to configure TV CARD in YAST, when I try to scan the channels I get an error: kernel tv module cannot be loaded.

Any ideas?
Why is only TVTIME working and KDETV not?
Is this a kernel problem? I always use rpms, and mainly through YAST.

TIA
