KDE theme


I've been trying to get KDE theme to work, but havnt and it's quite annoying. I've gotten it installed with kbfx, and when i select it and go hit apply, it doesnt apply it. It sits with the current theme :/, can someone help me out?

Maybe what ur trying is not theme, just splash screen and background wallpaper. Same happened with me.

You'll need to edit /etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc file and

Theme=/path/to/theme

And one more option will be commented, to enable theme. Uncomment it and allow to use theme. That's how you install theme.

Actually the real theme, whole theme will have .kth file and Theme Manager will detect and install that theme. So be sure what you've got is theme.
