kde screensaver & qt

Hi everybody. I'm running KDE 3.1.4 and i'm trying to install a gl screensaver. When i go /home/ryan/glscreensaver and do a ./configure at at the bottom i get:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.3) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

Am i doing something wrong? It seems as if the configure isn't working b/c the version of Qt i'm running is higher than 3.0.3 (i have 3.1.2). Anybody else have the same problem? How can i make this work?

./configure is probably looking for the Qt 3.1.2 source. Do you have the Qt 3.1.2 source installed?

thanks for the quick reply, sorry mine wasn't as quick

. is qt-x11-free-3.1.2.tar.bz2 the file that i want to compile for the source? Or is that just the program itself?

You want qt-3.1.2-0.9x.2.src.rpm which you can download from here:

Downloaded that file, but no luck

. I still get the same configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.3) (headers and libraries) not found. Any other ideas??

Did you install qt-3.1.2-0.9x.2.src.rpm?

cd to directory which contains qt-3.1.2-0.9x.2.src.rpm
rpm -i qt-3.1.2-0.9x.2.src.rpm

yep, tried that but still i get the same error.
