KDE Schema Kconsole Linux Terminal

I'm using Centos 5.3 and KDE.

In Kconsole I've changed the schema color and clicked 'save as default' and then exited Kconsole.

When I reopen Kconsole I'm getting back the old schema colors.

I haven't done any detailed changes, I've just clicked 'green on black' and saved a default.

How can I get Kconsole to come back up the 'green on black' schema when I reopen Kconsole.

Looks like the settings just don't get saved.

Also, I saved the session profile under 'mysession' shouldn't the help...get back the 'green on black' schema?

I'm a newbie...as you can tell.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

This seems to be a bug, at least in older konsole versions, which i also encounter under Debian. It will work if you do the default color sheme changes under Settings->Configure Konsole.

You shouldn't edit that feature there, that's the wrong place where you wanna change the color scheme, the right method to change should be(I use an italian version of konsole, maybe something is wrong):

Settings--->Manage profiles--->Choose your profile--->Edit profile--->Skin or something similar--->Choose your color scheme, once done:

Apply--->Ok, close your konsole and re-open it, this should probably work

All this because you've to edit the profile scheme and not the session scheme
