KDE rpm utility?

Greetings All!

I'm looking for a KDE application that is essentially a front end for rpm.

I want to be able to download rpms (from the web or where ever) and then install them w/o
opening a terminal, su'ing to root, and then rpm -i [install-options] my_package

I'm sure there is something out there I just don't know what its called. yum wasn't all that helpful.

You can use smart-gui or something like kpackage (part of the kdeadmin tools).

originally i wanted to use kpackage.

`yum search kpackage` returns nothing.

and after an install of kdeadmin `whereis kpackage` returns nothing.

Its part of the kdeadmin package. If its missing from Fedora Core, then you would need to either find an rpm for kpackage from the likes of pbone. An alternative would be to build kdeadmin from source or rebuild the kdeadmin source rpm and enable building of kpackage.
