KDE programs keep crashing

When I type KDM I get to the login screen as usual, but when I try to login the program kdmgreet crashes with signal 11 and I get thrown back to the login screen.

I can get around this problem by typing startx instead, but then lots of other programs keeps crashing with the same signal. The ones I get are: ksplash, kcminit, kdesktop_lock, konqueror.
Theres probably more.

I don't know how it all started because I hadn't touched any settings or something like that.
If I try to choose some other desktop manager, I get the same kdmgreet crash.

Edit: I'm using Mandrake 10.0
