KDE problems
i installed kde 3.1.4 via package manager, and uninstalled the old one's beforehand. I've done this a few times before with prior releases. Upon installing the modules, i recieved several errors and the error startkde not found. I uninstalled, and redownloaded the packages from kde directly. startx now starts to load kde, but instead of the kde icons loading up all i get is a blank x session with a white bash console top left of the screen.
Anyone know what happened, or how i can rebuild kde to a working state?? I don't wanna have to rebuild my box again, as it's doing a helluva lot of jobs, and would take me forever to get back to how i have it set now.
