Unhappy KDE only as Root

Hello Linux'ers,

I've installed Slackware 9.1 on my Computer (full install). After I've edited my XF86Config file, I started the X-Server with startx as root. KDE was starting and everything just worked fine. But when I start the application KDM, go login as a normal User, it won't work with KDE. It works well with FVWM and XFCE, but not with KDE. Also, when I login as user in XFCE and then want to start a KDE-Programm such as Konqueror, it won't start.
Does anyone know why's that? I mean, I don't need KDE really, cuz I will use
XFCE or FVWM anyways, but I need a few KDE-Programms like Konqueror and JuK,

so please help me!
Greetings.

< Looks nice

Hi,

Do your ~/.xsession-errors give you any hints?

umpf. I deleted everything related to KDE, cuz I read, that something like dcupserver (something that allowes kde-programms to comunicate with each other like "hey, KWrite#2, I'm here, don't open, I'll open a new Document") is to blame for that. And that is used since KDE 2. So I deleted everything about KDE and will reinstall the newest version without that server.. Maybe it helps. I'll post the result here
Thanks for you help!
