Hi guys,
I'm runnning Ubuntu 5.10 and want to have KDE as a session option; how would/should approach this? (note: i'm a linux beginner)
This is what I did so far:
Login as root and run the following commands from the console
wget
http://people.ubuntu.com/~jriddell/k...iddell-key.gpg
apt-key add kubuntu-packages-jriddell-key.gpg
Add the following lines to /etc/apt/sources.list
# Ubuntu 5.10 KDE 3.5 Repository
deb
http://kubuntu.org/packages/kde351 breezy main
Run the following commands
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
Things seem to go fine, but I do not have the option of a KDE session at logon/login screen.
Thanx =)
Doug
