KDE menus dont show up while running XGL

I'm running OpenSuse 10.1 and sometimes all the menus in all the running applications stop showing up. The menus do show up in any application started after that happens. I am nearly positive this is due to my XGL/Compiz setup. If I kill compiz and and start kwin all the menus work again and everything works fine. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advanced,
Paul

Ok, I switched to gome so I no longer have the problem, any help is still appreciated though in case I decide to go back to KDE.

Thanks,
Paul
