KDE looses file associations
 

Hi,

my KDE (3.2) is loosing it's file associations. Everytime I set Firebird as my default browser, it's lost some time later.

My guess is that msec or some other cron triggered program resets the file that stores the associations. But I don't know, as I don't know where the file associations are stored.

Can anyone tell me where the file associations are stored? (Or is this a bug, and anyone knows the solution...?)

open the KDE control center
kicker>settings>control center
then click on KDE componants and click on
.......file associations

thanks. Thats what I do (again and again). The problem is that it's loosing the file association
after some time.

Do you know where these settings are stored?
