KDE Login Question

When I boot my computer, it will autologin with my user id to X and the KDE interface. Everything comes up normal, including GKRellum, which shows 1 user active. If I then go to K, and Logout, I get the confirmation "End Session : OK Cancel", Selecting OK takes me to the K login screen. I can then log back in under my user id and everything comes back up just like it was before. Except now GKRellum shows 2 users logged in. And when I exit this time, I get a different logout confirmation, it is a little dragon with options to halt and reboot. Does anyone know what is happening here? When I logout the second time and log back on, the user count stays at 2. Just curious if anyone can shed some light.

How are you auto logging in? Have you tried setting it to just bring up kdm? You can log in from there, and then go to Control Centre, and somewhere there's options to configure kdm. You can then set auto-login from there. Sorry if that's what you're already doing, but if not it's another way of doing it and it might work.
