kde - launch an application with a custom title, window icon

hi all,

does anyone know of a way to launch an application in kde (or just x generally, if applicable) with a custom window icon and a custom title? like, for example, launching an xterm with the konsole window icon and the title 'Terminal'?

thanks in advance.

ps - i know konsole exists, but i don't really like it, so please don't tell me to use that instead of changing the window icon and title of xterm!

The best I can get (on Xfce) is

xterm -C -T "CommandLine"

It is not consistent but that has started xterm with the title "CommandLine". I cannot get it to adopt a particular icon.

EDIT: One minor problem: the terminal appears to be unresponsive to commands.

in kde.
on desktop,
rightclick->create new->link to application
in General tab, give ur preferred name. and click the icon box to choose an icon.
in application tab, give the path of ur application.
give OK.

you will get an icon. clcik it and open ur preferred application.
