At work, we're trying to get CUPS and Konsole to understand high ASCII characters (specificly the text-mode box characters). Neither CUPS nor Konsole are talking in high ASCII, as both are showing stuff like:

instead of a box like it should be showing. Is there any ideas for how to get the high ASCII characters to translate into something that can be used by konsole and CUPS? I know that the ncurses library does it, but I can't figure out where they are actually displaying the line characters.
Any information would be greately appreciated.
