KDE - Keramik taking over Plastik

This is really weird, when I go the the control center, and I set my style to Plastik, whenever I go back, it sets the style back to Keramik. All my KDE apps runn Plastik fine, but non-kde apps (Scribus, and apps run through gtk-qt) are all showing up as keramik. Can I just delete Keramik? I don't want to see it anymore.

I am running KDE 3.3.2 on Simply Mepis 2005.

You can of course delete it, but I dubt it will solve your problems, I'd try to configure the gtk apps style in gnome (if you have it... =/ ), it'd help...

I did find the keramik style in /usr/lib/kde3/plugins/styles and I renamed it so it woudn't find it anymore, but now it just defaults to .net style. Better than keramik imo, but I would really just like it to use plastik. I renamed the dotnet style, but it won't go away.

didn't u tryed to confugure it from (inside) gnome?

I don't have gnome, I run KDE. I can run a fake gnome version called plastig, but I want it to use plastik. I know this is possible with GTK-QT. I also know I being a little nitpicky, but themes are important right? :)

Right! =)
and that plastig, does it have somrthing like feel.n.look configuration?

I'm guessing Plastig is a GTK theme that looks like plastik. You can untar it to your ~/.themes and then use http://freshmeat.net/projects/gtk-chtheme/ to change this to your default GTK theme
