kde file manager CRASHING !!!!!!!!!!


i ran the redhat update on a FC4 machine. after that the Konquerer started crashing every time i try to open my home folder, how can i uninstall Konquerer and install it back ????!! i tried

but it didn't work ...i aslo installed wine on my machine ad i tried to install some windows applications , i don't know if that might have cuased the problem. the crash message is :

If you still have GNOME installed, use that as your primary GUI for now.

At the command shell type (as root) yum install yumex

This will install a GUI for YUM (replaces RHN)

Click on the Remove button, and uninstall kde-desktop and kde-devel

Then reinstall

You can't uninstall konquor because its built into KDE. Just like IE is built into XP.
