KDE error log verbosity settings

Greetings all,

I have a problem with digikam. The program looks very promising and I really would like to use it. However, although a number of plug-ins are installed, digikam does not load/register/show one of them.

I want to peek at the KDE log files to see what is happening, and possibly increase the verboseness in logging.

I KNOW that there is an app which can be used to adjust the log settings of each KDE app to an insane level of verboseness. I have used it once, but I forgot what it was, and I can't even find it back after some serious googling. I think the app was a GUI app (not sure though), it showed all installed KDE programs, and allowed me to adjust what happened with each type of error. Either being logged or discarded.

And then the second question: in what log file(s) these messages are dumped?

Thanks for any help
