KDE "Create New" Menu is EMPTY!

Hi All,

My KDE "Create New" menu has gone empty... I had to re-install Mozilla for some reason, and after re-installation I went to make a new link to the app... and "Create New" is completely empty. A little nub of a window shows, 3x3 pixels or so, but the menu is empty.

I'm Debian 3.0 w/a 2.4.21 kernel, although I've tried a few kernels etc, and I've tried reinstalling kdebase to no avail... nothing seems to bring this menu back. Thanks.
