KDE and utf8

Can anyone tell me is it possible to make KDE to use utf8 encodiong all the time? I mean ALL the time, to make ALL text I see on the screen utf8 encoded? So I don't have to think about fonts, i18n and that stuff ever again?

KDE uses default encoding. See your /etc/profile.d/
