KDE and Firefox mouse issue

My friend told my that in firefox in windows middle button clicked on tab closes it. In KDE my middle mouse button copy marked text. How to change this ?? Not disable the button but set it different in ff. Second question. Is there a way to set kde to alway copy marked text without clicking. I marked text and automatically it goes to klipper. Like when i press ctrl+v but without pressing it.

It's a system-wide practise, as far as I know, that in Linux when you mark some text (or other content as well?), it "gets automatically copied" just by marking it. Pasting goes always by pressing a key combination (like ctrl+v) or pressing the middle mouse button (on 2-button mouses it often works by pressing both of them, which emulates pressing a 3rd button, if it just is configured that way). I think there is at least a plugin for firefox with which you can edit mouse gestures in Firefox, so could it be of help in this case? I'm not sure.

I've also noticed that many other functions that work on Windows don't work on Linux the same way, and vice versa. Few days ago I noticed that pressing a key combination that on Linux Firefox opens the nth tab (like second, for example), won't do the same on Windows. So I think it's not necessarily up to firefox only, but up to the way your buttons are configured in your desktop (KDE) or even in X.
