kde 4.2 no window bars


hi all i just updated kde 4.1 to 4.2.2 on my intrepid ibex (8.10) but it is updating itself to 9.04 right now...
anyway in 4.2 there are now window title bars on any aps till i start compiz thru terminal and i cannot access my hotmail thru konqurer or firefox... please help

Ah i have a panel on top of another and i changed to the kwin window manager it works now thanks
