KDE 3.5.2 breaks KAddressBook?

I upgraded to KDE 3.5.2 and the corresponding applications. I am unable to create new To-dos or add new events to my calendar. Does anyone else have this problem or have a remedy?

I get a message that says Unable to save event x or Unable to save todo y.

Sorry: KAddressBook = KOrganizer. And there is no problem for new calendars, but there are problems for calendars from previous versions.

After tinkering around, it appears this message only happens to the std.ics calendar. The problem is circumvented by renaming.
