KDE 3.4 on Debian 3.1r0a?
Hi, all!
I just did a netinstall of the newest debian dist. I am kind of new to debian, so my question is as following: The kde installed by default was 3.3.2, but I want the newest 3.4. So, how do I do that? Do I have to download/install it manually or can I use aptget or something? Thanks alot... |
Fixed. KDE 3.4.2 is part of debian sid. so, the only thing I needed to do, was to modify /etc/apt/sources.list to point to a location of an ftp server with sid packages. then do apt-get install, and voila! :D
edit: oops... I meant do FIRST apt-get update and THEN apt-get install |
