KDE 3.3 and X.Org - Strange millimetre of white space under all windows
 

Hi,

I have noticed some display corruption when windows are drawn on my SuSE 9.2 system. At the bottom of EVERY window, even maximized ones, there is a horizontal strip of white space about a milimetre thick. I have also noticed that some windows show all the controls overlapping each other at their default window size. If I enlarge the windows, the controls straighten themselves out, but some windows, such as the XINE windows cannot be enlarged!

Why? Help!
