KDE 3.2 upgrade taskbar problems

I downloaded and installed the KDE 3.2 rpm_s yesterday and the only problem that I noticed immediately was with the taskbar. It was empty, with the exception of half a dozen dividers. No problem, I just added the icons I wanted. However, I've noticed now that when I try to minimize windows they don't go down on the taskbar where I can maximize them again. Also, I do not have the multiple desktop option on the taskbar either. Any ideas?

I am not sure about your problem in particular. But I have found kde-3.2 to be very slow and buggy(expected). I like the features of it, but it is not worth the hassle of using it. I went back to 3.1 for now.

I found the answer to my original post. There is a window list icon that scrolls up and shows all of the desktop items. I would prefer to have them lined up along the taskbar in full view, but haven't looked into whether that can be done yet.

concerning going back to KDE 3.1, what is involved? Do you have to do a system reinstall to get back to the original (assuming 3.1 is the original, which in my case it is)?

I am not sure how that works if you install an rpm. When I installed it on gentoo KDE-3.1 and KDE-3.2 live side by side. So I can choose which one I wnant to run.
