Unhappy KDE 3.2 problems

I got KDE 3.2b1 installed and it runs, but my Control Center is empty. It has no icons on the left side bar. The Kmenu is also emtpy, and if I try to right click the kicker and hit configure (or any applet for that matter) nothing happens.

Anybody know what could be wrong?

Thanks

I did that and now KDE is in even worse shape. Aside from losing any themes or personal settings I had, I can't see the title bar on any windows, nor can I use my keyboard. I've had to resort to blackbox.

Now how do I fix THAT problem?
