KDE 3.1 Screen Saver Problems

Hi there,

Recently, I´ve installed KDE 3.1 via APT in Red Hat 8.0. Everything works fine. It´s stable and fast, but right now I´m having an annoying problem with the screensaver:

Sometimes it works after the time I put it to start, and sometimes it doesn´t. I haven´t changed anything on the system. When I select another screensaver, It works for a while and then, for a mysterious reason, it stops working again.

Any ideas on this?

I am having the exact same problem, it works again after I log off and log back on, but its still a pain. I am running KDE 3.1 with Fedora Core 1.
