Please take note that themes are not kde styles. Styles generally are more pretty and have to be compiled or installed as a package for your distro. Themes are just like wallpaper and icons and stuff and for the most part it just put's it all together for you. You still have to have the kde style it's based on or they won't work.
KDElook.org does not really separate the two and therefore you have themes in their styles section of the site. Grab a style instead extract, make sure you have a compiler and
./configure --prefix=path-to-kde && make && make install
Or if you look closely you will see that some styles are made for your distro like mandrake rpm's.. Just install thoose with rpm -ivh filename.mdk.rpm Here is a very nice style (baghira) for your distro no compile needed
http://kdelook.org/content/show.php?content=9253 it also includes a windec for your kwin.
Oh and yeah if you feel you have to have the "theme" instead just install it with kcontrol.
Have fun.
