kde 1 programs on kde2?

Is there someway to use a kde 1 program on kde 2? I have a program (kwav2cd) but I can't ./configure it, I get this error message : checking for kde libraries installed... configure:error: your system fails at linking a small KDE application!
Check if your compiler is installed correctly and if you have used the same compiler to compile QT and kdelibs as you did use now

I am using SUSE 7.1 and I installing the QT and kdelibs of the CDs.
