kde's %i %m %c %U...what do these mean?

while adding entries to kde's launch menu i found that for most of the programs(which were in the launch menu by default) the command was something like

kopete %i %m

or

kcalc -caption %c %i %m

could someone please explain what these mean ...or can i atleast get a link to where i can find an explanation...??what does 'caption' do here?

Thanks in advance...
