Kbluetooth4 not working, any alternatives?

I've lately found out that kbluetooth4 has a bug related to dbus, which lets the application run anyway, but no tray icon is shown.

I always loved Bluesoleil from windows and I wanted to ask if there was anything similar to linux.

I know that bluesoleil is ported for linux, but it's only available for eeepc and don't even know what's that XD

I thought of building a Vmware VM and using window's bluesoleil (now vmware's got USB support and works like a champ!) but it would be really annoying to start vmware everytime I wanna use BT

I only know kbluetooth and bluez-gnome as bluetooth mnanagers, I'd like to know if there's any similar apps, or if anyone had (and solved, obviously) that issue with kbluetooth4

Thanks in advance!

What exactly are you trying to do that kbluetooth and bluez-gnome can't handle?

kdebluetooth can't handle anything because it's not working XD

anyway, I wanna do a few things that kbluetooth can't, serial port connection throught BT to use with gnubox, exploring the phone contents (kbluetooth didn't let me do that), connecting a BT Headset...

All that stuff that bluesoleil used to manage quite well
