kbear - exporting configuration settings?

Heya. When I moved from Suse linux 9.2 to 9.3, I backed up my .kde folder that contained my kbear config data.

But when replacing the configuration xml file, it was replaced by a new one when I started kbear again.

I was also unable to import the file either.

Is it possible to take my config file and import it?

Thanks!
