Kazaa? Or what should I use?

Hi! I am a Linux newbie, befor I used WIndows and Kazaa. I´m very happy with Linux but I dont know what software I should use to download games, music, movies, software.
In the WineHQ Database Kazaa and Kazaa Lite is accepted and should work under Linux. But when I install and run it, it appears, but when I click on any thing, like My Folder or Traffic it closes automatticly.
So what should I use? I couldnt find Kazaa 1.7 It should be the most effectiv version under Linux, according to WineHQ.
Under Linux I dont have to download as many Software as under Windows because its all OpenSource. So should I use websites for Music and Filemirrors.com for Software?
Or what P2P Programm should I use that is working good under Linux.
I´m happy too if someone tells me where I can find an old Kazaa Version.
Thank you very much!

giFT has a FastTrack plugin, which is the network Kazza uses. It works fine and you can get access to Gnutella and openFT networks too.

http://gift.sourceforge.net/

I believe this is the only way onto this network via linux.

youll have to find a frontend for giFT as it is only the daemon i suggest giFTcurs but many people like giFToxic giFTcurs is linked on the giFT page but a search in google should bring them up too

-good luck
