Kate: Append files to existing list and enable the Recent List

Hello,

I am using Kubuntu 9.04, running KDE 4.3.1

I am working on a website and I am currently using kate a lot and Dolphin is my file manager. What I want to do is when I open a file it is opened in the current kate document.

The other thing is the recent list is always empty when I open kate but is contains the currently in use documents, How can I enable the documents to be saved in kate?

Thank you

This one is solved: Go to File Association in System Settings, set kate to start with this command: kate --use

You can't enable recent document, it is used to restore file you just closed. Instead, save your session.
