Kat Desktop Search Tool


Hi all
I installed the kat-0.6.4 RPM from sourceforge.net .
But it is not working.
Is the kernel patch neccesary for working of kat.
which is the stable one 0.6.4 or 0.6.3......

I may be blind but I haven't seen any requirements for a kernel patch.
