Kandy problems - SUSE 9.3
I have a problem with Kandy. I have a serial cable with my Sony Ercisson T610 mobile phone and when I am trying to connect to the program, I run it and here is what I get:
- 'Unable to create lock file '/var/lock/LCK..ttyS1' Please check that you have sufficient permissions. ......and then another pop-up comes.... - ''Cannot open modem device /dev/ttyS1'' Any news about that? It is really frustrating because the first time I run the program I could go in without any mobile connected and check the settings etc. but now seems I changed something and now it's blown! Perhaps I setup the modem to be always on, or something. I tried to uninstall/reinstall the software but no luck, the same. I don't have a USB dongle for bluetooth or any infrared equivalent, so the serial cable (null modem?) is the only alternative. Any other programs that I could use for mobile phone data transfer? Any answer on this would be really helpfull... |
