Kaffiene configuration
As with my last post, I have rebuilt my slackware 12.2 and downloaded real player & Kaffeine from slacky.eu used pkgtool to install it.
I normally use realplayer to stream radio shows but this time am noticing every time i try to stream it opens kaffiene xine.
Is there any way to configure realplayer to run especially when using the bbc iplayer.

I would guess you need to set the file associations in your browser if that's where you're getting the streams from. I think they're called "helper applications" and you have to tell your browser which app goes with which kind job.

That's not a Kaffeine issue. Your desktop environment should provide an a countrol panel for your sound. Usually just plugging in the headset is enough but I have no idea what hardware/software you're using so I can't be more specific than that.
cheers,
