Kaffeine : problem with subtitle position

Hello there !

The subtitles displayed in Kaffeine, when I play movies with subtitles, are placed in the very center of the image, and that's not very comfortable.

Here is an example, I took a screenshot :
(the picture being 1024 pixels large and nearly 500 high, I won't make an [ img ] insertion)

I checked all of Kaffeine and Xine options, but that didn't change anything alas. Even the "subtitle vertical offset" option that seemed so promising didn't change anything, ranges from 250 to -250 didn't move the subtitles position one single pixel.

And I cannot change to another rendering engine, it's only with Kaffeine+Xine that a Linux player will allow me to chose what language and what subtitle should be played inside a matroska file.

would you know how the subtitles position could be moved in the bottom of the image, instead of being over it in the middle ?
Thanks a ton if you can help me

Hmm, most of the time I don't approve the use of that, but once in a while, I make an exception...

Bump ?
