kaffeine dvb channels

Im using an asus my cinema u3100 mini atsc on a EEE 1000 with Xandros. Asus provides two pieces of software for this combo that sort of work, the main piece is kaffeine. When the U3100 is plugged into a USB port, kaffeine does start up with the DVB menu active, following the instructions leads to the scan menu that finds very few channels, presumably because it is not sep up for the right region.

The configure DVB menu appeears to offer some hope, pointing to files in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kaffeine/dvb-x that does not exits. Ihave searched with find and grep for names like us-CA-SF-Bay-Area with zero succes. Dear Kaffeine masters, where have you hid these files??

Thanks
