k9copy and sigsegv crash


have anyone get k9copy to work? and do I have to have dvd writer when I use k9copy. there is output dir in k9copy and also dvd writer box but can I just make file to output dir? I'm buying dvd writer in near future. but now I don't know is that program crashing because I don't have that writer or do I have some other problem.

I use FC3
