K8S on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

I've been searching quite a few sites for installing K8S on Ubuntu 16.04. The one I see from K8S site is mainly for 14.04 which uses upstart instead of systemd. I have also read some books about K8S and its a bit confusing.

The aim is to install K8S on a servers running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and setup clustering, LB, failover, etc. Is there any straight forward how-to site you can point me to. Also, it seems like from what I've read on the textbook some components differ from one site to another. e.g. Flannel, will this be necessary for HA? I would want to have the UI functionality too. Please help..
