k3bsetup problem

Hi all, first i installed k3b from a .tgz package and ran k3bsetup, i get the box asking for my root pass, put it in, i see something flash in the sys tray then nothing. Running it in console does exactly the same and gives me no errors. The actual k3b prog runs fine though :/ I also tried compiling it from source but when i got to the "make install" i got lots of "nothing to be done" errors and k3b wouldnt start.

Any ideas/help very much appreciated.

Post the errors and what distro are you using.
