Question k3b wont rip last song on a cd

I've tried two cd's so far, and every time i try to rip them, the last song is unable to rip. When i click the button that says debugging information, it only tells me the version numbers.
System
-----------------------
K3b Version: 0.10
KDE Version: 3.1.4
QT Version: 3.2.1

Then since i ran this as a background process from console, this is what the console outputted

kbuildsycoca running...
QRichText: no mimesource for /home/trueg/k3b/k3b_welcome_large.png
mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding

QPixmap::resize: TODO: resize alpha data

Its only on the last song!! I try to reopen k3b and rip just that song, but it still doesnt work. If anybody can help it'd be appreciated. Also could you suggest a lightweight alternative to k3b for ripping / burning, as i am using fluxbox, and would like to not open any KDE apps if possible.

I love k3b as a burner, but it's never been able to rip anything decently for me.

I'm with Tinkster, use Grip. It works great.

To freychef and Tinkster;

Have you ever had it where for no apparent reason certain tracks refuse to get ripped using GRIP. encoder =ogg

I have run across a few tracks that I have to use CDEX to rip Grip starts then slows down to crawl and then just keeps sitting there at about 0.1x

I track wil play if I use the player part of grip, it just want rip them to ogg.
