k3b upgrade to 0.10.2 on suse
 

I can't upgrade k3b on suse 8.2

I installed the rpm for suse 8.2 from sourceforge.net and when I run k3b it says:

k3b: relocation error: /opt/kde3/lib/libk3bcore.so.2: undefined symbol: _ZNK7QString3argExii

The gui doesn't even show up.
Then I compiled and installed from the source. Now I get it running but it says:

cdrdao does not run with root privileges
cdrdao needs to run with root privileges to be able to access the cd devices and use real time scheduling.This is also true when using SuSE's resmgr.
Solution: Use K3bSetup to solve this problem.
readcd does not run with root privileges
Readcd needs to run with root privileges to be able to access the cd devices unless using SuSE's resmgr with a patched readcd.
Solution: Use K3bSetup to solve this problem.
Used growisofs version 4.1 is outdated
K3b needs at least growisofs version 5.10 to write dvds. All older versions will not work and K3b will refuse to use them.
Solution: Install a more recent version of growisofs.
Unable to find dvd+rw-format executable
K3b uses dvd+rw-format to format DVD-RWs and DVD+RWs.
Solution: Install the dvd+rw-tools package.

But there is no k3bsetup, not even in KDE Control centre (I think "kdesu kcmshell k3bsetup2" was supposed to fix this but it does nothing) and I already have dvd+rw-tools installed, dvd+rw-format is in /usr/bin/ (which is in k3b's search path).
Any help?
