Angry K3b seems to hang when burning final track

The night before last I was trying to burn some audio cds from WAV files with k3b. Well, it seemed to work beautifully at first. I only had about 20 minutes of music to burn, so it was going along quickly, and then on the last track, it just seemed to hang! I left it forever, before trying a couple more times. Each time it would hang, and the buffer would go down, and it would take forever. Sometimes on the last track, sometimes on the track before last. Then I was forced to copy the files to my Windows partition and burn them from WMP. I hate doing that, but I had no choice. Does anybody have any clue what could have gone wrong, and how I can prevent this in the future?
