K3b question
 

Yeh another k3b question. Actually k3b was running fine on my system until yesterday i tried to burn a dvd and it told me to run k3b setup. Wrong move now it see's my reader but not my burner. I noticed though that cdrdao, cdrecord and mkisofs are (not found) but they are on my system. when i log into another user where i have not ran setup in k3b it works any help would be appreciated k3b is nice but this sucks.

If you're having problems with k3b as one user, but not as another, then firstly chech that both users have the same permissions (ie they are both members of the same groups). If all else fails, you could remove the k3b config file. It is found under ~/.kde/share/config/k3brc

I got it thanks though. During k3b setup the screen before finish had the user as cdwriter, I do belong to cdwriter but obviosly something wasn't working. So I changed it to my user name and to my suprise it worked.
