k3b problems

Now I'm starting to get mad I have tried to install k3b now for a while, and nothing that I know of is working but then it ain't much I know, so I've followed the readme and that worked SO good

. And now I stand here totally empty of ideas of what I could do please help...

if you're using mandrake 9.1, go to mandrake control center>software>add rpm> and search for 'k3b' and install! you're set!
If you're not using mandrake 9.1, I cannot help you. sorry

you might try gcombust or xcdroast i use both they are easy to configure and use.I am even burning data dvd+rw with xcdroast.
I had problems with k3b to and i was installing from a factory disk.

but I use slackware and it doesn't have that prog. but I understood your point and fixed it when I realised it was a pakage...
