k3b opens adobe reader or kprinter

Hi,

On LE2005 whenever the k3b(0.11.20-7) icon is clicked adobe reader opens. Clicking the "X" in the upper right corner of adobe several times finally closes it and k3b opens. This is as a normal user and the same thing happens using the command line. There are no error messages.

This does not happen as root.

On Mandriva 10.1, kprinter would open when clicking on the k3b icon.

What is causing this?

How can this be repaired?

In the 2 years that I've used k3b this has never happened and after googling and searching forums, there's no explanation.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Should I just run k3b as root and forget about running it as a normal user? Is that okay to do that?

Really would like to solve this issue and use the application.

Upgraded to the latest version and this is still happening.

Is this specific to Mandriva?

Has this happened to you too?

Can you help solve this issue PLEASE?
